SBI CBO Syllabus 2020: On 10th November 2020, SBI has released a notification announcing an online test for SBI CBO recruitment 2020 which will include both objective test and descriptive test. The exam pattern has been revised by the authority and divided into two sections. SBI CBO Exam Pattern 2020 (Revised)
With the introduction to the online written test for the SBI CBO exam 2020, the SBI has also released the exam pattern for the same which is as follows. The candidates who are going to appear in the SBI CBO 2020 recruitment must follow the following exam pattern. A total of 2 hours 30 minutes i.e. 150 minutes will be granted to the candidate for completing both tests of the SBI CBO examination.

Penalty for Wrong Answers:
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, 1/4th of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
SBI CBO Topic-wise Syllabus 2020
The candidates have to score good marks in the SBI CBO online written test which will decide their selection for the interview round. The SBI CBO Exam pattern has been revised by the authority and divides into two objective and descriptive test. The subjects included in the Objective test areas:
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude
- General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness
- English Language
- Data Analysis & Interpretation
The descriptive test for SBI CBO will include 1 question on letter writing and one question on essay writing. The topics will be related to banking itself. The candidates must prepare themself for this change in the exam pattern for the Circle-Based Officer recruitment.

SBI CBO Selection Process 2020
State-wise & Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in
the Online Test. There will be no sectional cut-off and sectional wise marks shall not be maintained. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the State wise & Category wise vacancies will be called for the Interview from the top of the State wise & Category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score.
The maximum marks for the interview shall be 100 and the candidate will have to score minimum
qualifying marks in an interview for being considered for final selection. Candidates qualifying for Interview under the ‘OBC’ category would be required to submit an OBC certificate containing the ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ clause. Candidates who have registered themselves as OBC but do not submit OBC ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ certificate and request to be interviewed under the General category will not be entertained.
State-wise & Category-wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the Interview score (out of 100) subject to a candidate scoring the minimum qualifying marks in the interview. Selection for each State & Category will be made from the top of the above merit list based on the interview score.
