SBI CBO Exam Date 2020: The Exam date for the recruitment of Circle Based Officer has been announced by the authority on its official website of State Bank of India along with the updated SBI CBO Exam Pattern 2020. This is the first time when SBI will be conducting an online test for the recruitment procedure. The candidates who have applied for the post can now check the exam date and can submit their choices for test centres between 10th November 2020 to 16th November 2020. The candidates have a choice of three centres from the list provided by the authority. The candidates can click on the direct link provided below for choosing their choice of test centres. Hurry up! the link is active till 16th November 2020. Please note that SBI reserves the right to allot any centre other than the centre choice given by the candidate.

SBI CBO Test A: Objective Test (Online)

SBI CBO Test B: Descriptive Test (Online)- 30 minutes

  1. Letter Writing: 25 Marks
  2. Essay (250 words on bank-related topics): 25 Marks

Penalty for Wrong Answers:

There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, 1/4th of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

SBI CBO Selection Process 2020

Online Examination

State-wise & Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in
the Online Test. There will be no sectional cut-off and sectional wise marks shall not be maintained. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the State wise & Category wise vacancies will be called for the Interview from the top of the State wise & Category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score.

Interview

The maximum marks for interview shall be 100 and the candidate will have to score minimum
qualifying marks in an interview for being considered for final selection. Candidates qualifying for Interview under the ‘OBC’ category would be required to submit OBC certificate containing the ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ clause. Candidates who have registered themselves as OBC but do not submit OBC ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ certificate and request to be interviewed under General category will not be entertained.

Final Selection

State-wise & Category-wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the Interview score (out of 100) subject to a candidate scoring the minimum qualifying marks in interview. Selection for each State & Category will be made from the top of the above merit list based on the interview score.
