NHM Punjab Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for the post of Medical Officer. The eligibility conditions are given below:
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have passed the subject of Punjabi up to Matric standard. If the candidate has not passed Punjabi up to Matric, he will be given 6 months of time to pass the subject.
- The candidate must possess a degree in MBBS from a recognized University or Institution from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Preference will be given to candidates with 6 months house job in Obstetrics & Gynecology and trained in MTP from a registered MTP training center.
- The candidate must be registered with the Punjab Medical Council/Medical Council of India. If the candidate has not registered, he/she will be given 1 month time to get registered with the Punjab Medical Council/Medical Council of India.
Age Limit (as of 01/01/2021)
The maximum age limit of the candidate for Medical Officer is 37 years. The age relaxation rules are as per the Punjab Government.
NHM Punjab Medical Officer Recruitment 2021 – Selection Process
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the MBBS degree, work experience & age. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling for checking the eligibility of candidates and the list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the official website.
NHM Punjab Medical Officer Salary
The shortlisted candidates will be appointed on a contract basis initially for one year. The candidates will receive consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 50,000.
