MP Board 10th Result 2020: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has declared the MP Board 10th result 2020 on Saturday (July 4, 2020) at 12 noon. The merit list of over 11 lakh candidates has been released on 4th July @mpresults.nic.in.

Every year the MP Board Results for Classes 10th and 12th are released simultaneously. But this year, the same pattern will not be followed due to the COVID 19 Outbreak. According to the MPBSE board officials, the MP Board class 12th results will be declared by the third week of July.
Update: A total of 22 students have bagged third rank by scoring 99.67% while two students have secured 2nd rank by scoring 99.75%. There are 15 toppers who scored 100% to secure 1st rank.

MP Board 10th Result 2020: Passing Marks
The MP Board Result 2020 has been delayed due to the COVID 19 pandemic. In 2018, the Madhya Pradesh Board had introduced a new system best of five -under which students have to pass only five subjects out of six. However, this year the board could not conduct the exams of all the six papers due to Coronavirus lockdown. This year, the students will be marked on basis of best of three papers.
The passing marks of MP Board will be declared based on the highest marks received in three subjects. If a student fails in one subject, he/she would be declared pass on the basis of marks of three subjects.

MP Board 10th Result 2020: Highlights
- MP Board has kept the results of 235 students pending because their scores have not been verified yet. Their results will be declared in a few days.
- Students from government school have performed better than private schools. Many toppers hail from small towns.
- Three students of Guna district of Madhya Pradesh have made it to top- 5 merit list this year.
- A total of 22 students have bagged third rank by scoring 99.67% while two students have secured 2nd rank by scoring 99.75%. There are 15 toppers who scored 100% to secure 1st rank.
- Every year MP Board 10th and 12th results are released simultaneously. But this time the results will be declared on different dates due to the Corona Virus Outbreak.
- The examinations of 10th and 12th had to be postponed in between.
- Later, the Madhya Pradesh Government announced the cancellation of the 10th class pending examinations and the 12th pending examinations were held between June 9 and June 16.
How to Get MP Board Class 10 Result 2020 Marksheet?
The 10th Result of MP Board is provisional in nature. Students are suggested to take a print copy of their MP 10th result 2020. The board will send the marks sheets of all students to their respective schools after the announcement of the MPBSE 10th result 2020.
However, students will only get the mark sheet when the school will open. MP schools will open probably in August 2020.
