Board of Secondary Education, Manipur has released notification for Manipur Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Manipur Board is conducting Manipur TET for Primary and Secondary Teachers. The Manipur TET Application 2019 begins on 24th September 2019 and is going to end on 21st October 2019. Candidates must fill the Application Form before 21st October to avoid last minute rush.
Manipur TET is going to be conducted in fifteen (15) languages. Candidates can select their preferred language at the time for Online Application.

Manipur TET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification Criteria

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Primary Stage):

1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
2. Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE. OR
3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
5. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):

1. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
2. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure). OR
4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
5. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education). OR
7. Any candidate having qualified B.Ed Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET.

Age Limit Criteria-

• No upper age limit has been mentioned specifically by the Board for Manipur TET 2019.

Manipur TET 2019 Application Fee

The Mode of Fee payment is online. The fee for each category candidate has been mentioned.

• General / EWS- Rs 800 for Either Paper I or Paper II and Rs 1600/- for both Papers.
• SC/ST/OBC/PHH- Rs 600 for Either Paper I or Paper II and Rs 1200/- for both Papers.

Instructions to Apply Online for Manipur TET 2019

1. Click the given link for Manipur TET Online Form 2019 given above.
2. As the new tab opens.
3. After checking the I agree checkbox and clicking on Proceed button you will be redirected to online application form.
4. Please carefully fill all the fields in the application form and click on Submit Application button
5. After you clicked on the Submit Application button, you will be redirected to confirmation page. You will also received a confirmation mail as well as an sms along with your application number.
6. In the confirmation page, you will be able to see your application number, examination fee along with some detail. You will also be asked to pay the examination fee in online mode. Click on the Complete payment button and you will be redirected to online payment page.
7. Once you complete the payment, you will be redirected back to our website with confirmation message. A confirmation mail and sms will be sent to your registered email and mobile number regarding the status of payment.
8. After successful application you can log in to your account using your application number and date of birth. You can download your submitted application form and admit card(if issued) after logging into your account.

Manipur TET 2019 Exam Pattern

There will be two Papers in Manipur TET Paper I and Paper II which are explained below:

1. Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
2. Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note:- Those who intended to teach both levels will have to appear for both papers i.e., Paper I and Paper II
