Kerala PSC Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The educational qualification and age limit for different posts is given below as per the post.

1. Assistant Professor in Business Administration, Cat no. 46/2020

• Masters Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent and good academic record .
• Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government in this behalf. When qualifications are being equal, preference shall be given to those candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.

2. Assistant Professor (in various subjects, 47/2020-58/2020

• A Postgraduate Degree in Homoeopathy in the concerned subject recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy and included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (Central Act 59 of 1973).
• Permanent Registration with Travancore- Cochin Medical Council.

3. Assistant, Cat no. 59/2020

• Degree: Desirable: Degree in Law

4. Data Entry Operator, Cat No. 60/2020

• Degree from a recognized University and PGDCA/DCA from a Government recognized Institution.

5. Theatre Mechanic Gr.II, cat No. 61/2020

• Pass in Form III or standard VII (New) or equivalent qualification
• Two years experience in handling Theatre Equipment.

6. Manager Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan/Godown Keeper, Cat No. 62/2020

• B.Com Degree of a recognised University

7. Store Keeper, Cat No. 63/2020

• B.Com Degree of a recognised University

8. Junior Audit Assistant, Cat No. 64/2020

• Bachelors Degree in Commerce from a recognized University with 2 years experience in Accounts Department of an Organization

9. Typist, Cat No. 64/2020

•  Pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification
• Typewriting Malayalam (Lower) in KGTE
• Typewriting English (Lower) Certificate (KGTE/MGTE) or its equivalent qualification
•  6 months certificate in MS Office and DTP (English & Malayalam) from a recognized institution

10. Legal Assistant, Cat no. 65/2020

• Should possess a Bachelors degree in Law of a recognized University.
• Experience as Legal Assistant for not less than 2 years in a Government Department or in an industrial

• commercial undertaking or limited company registered under the Companies Act or public sector undertakings or Registered Private Sector undertakings wherein Government have investments.
  OR
• Experience for not less than 2 years at the Bar as an Advocate.

11. Typist Clerk, Cat No. 66/2020

• Plus Two or equivalent. Typewriting and Word Processing English (Higher)
  OR
• Diploma in Commercial Practice Typewriting Malayalam (Higher).

12. Typist Clerk Gr.II, Cat No. 68/2020

• Graduate with Typewriting English (KGTE) Higher or Diploma in Commercial Practice.

13. High School Teacher (Mathematics) Malayalam Medium (By Transfer), Cat No. 69/2020

• A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
• Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

14. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife, Cat No. 70/2020

• Pass in SSLC or its equivalent.
•  Auxiliary Nurse Midwifes Certificates or its equivalent from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.
• Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.

15. Carpenter/Carpenter Cum Packer, Cat No. 71/2020

• A pass in Standard VII.
• National Trade Certificate in Carpentary Trade.

16. Assistant Professor (Materia Medica) (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes Only), Cat No. 72/2020

• A Post Graduate Degree in Homoeopathy in Materia Medica recognised by the Central Council of Homoeopathy and included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act 1973 (Central Act 59 of 1973).
• Permanent registration with Travancore- Cochin Medical Council.

17. Woman Police Constable) (Woman Police Battalion) (SR from ST only) Cat No. 73/2020

• Pass in HSE examination (Plus Two) or its equivalent
• Who have failed in HSE(Plus 2) examination shall also be considered if sufficient number of qualified candidates are not available to fill up the quota.

18. Driver -Cum- Office Attendant (LDV) [Special Recruitment for SC/ST only], Cat No. 74/2020

• A pass in Standard VII/III Forum.
• Must possess Driver’s Badge and valid Driving Licence of 3 (three) years standing to drive Light Motor vehicle.

19. SEAMAN (Special Recruitment for ST only), Cat No. 75/2020

• Must have studied upto Standard VIII. (2) Proficiency in boat pulling,knots,splices and rigging,handling single cylinder motor boats,anchor work and swimming.
• The proficiency in the above work shall be assessed in a practical test conducted by the KPSC at the time of selection.

20. Attender Grade II (Special Recruitment from among ST only, Cat No.: 76/2020

• Pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification.
•  Three years experience in handling/dispensing homoeo medicines in Government Homoeopathy Hospital/Dispensary run by an “A Class” Registered Homoeo Medical Practitioner.

21. Lift Operator (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only), Cat No. 77/2020

•  Pass in SSLC or its equivalent Qualification
•  Experience as Lift Operator for a period of six months after acquiring the qualification specified in item No 1 above.

22. Assistant Professor in Arabic, Cat No. 78/2020 to 80/2020

• Masters Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic record .
• Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government in this behalf.
• When qualifications are being equal, preference shall be given to those candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam

23. Veterinary Surgeon Gr.II, Cat No.: 81/2020 & 82/2020

•  Degree in Veterinary Science.
•  Registration with the Kerala State Veterinary Council as envisaged in the Indian Veterinary Council Act., 1984 ( Central Act of 52 of 1984)
• Working knowledge in Malayalam.

24. Lecturer in Violin & Veena, Cat No. 83/2020 & 84/2020 resp.

• I or II Class Masters Degree in Violin or its equivalent from any statutory University / “University and Deemed Universities recognized by the UGC”.

25. Divisional Accountant, Cat No. 85/2020 to 88/2020

• A University Degree with at least a Second Class.

26. Caretaker (Female), Cat. No. 89/2020

• PDC or Plus Two or equivalent and one year experience as a care giver in any of the child care institution recognised by the Kerala State Orphanage Control Board under Social welfare Department.
• Should possess good physique.

27. Junior Systems Officer, Cat no. 90/2020

• Must have 3 (three) years regular service in any cadre in the Member Society affiliated to the Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Limited and should be in service of the Member Society not only on the date of application but also on the date of appointment to the new post.
•  BCA/ Degree in Mathematics/ Commerce/ Physics/ Statistics with Diploma in Computer Application/Computer Science/Technology/ MCA

28. Marketing Organizer, Cat No. 91/2020

• Must have 3 (three) years regular service in any cadre in the Member society affiliated to the Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Limited and should be in service of the Member society not only on the date of application but also on the date of appointment to the new post.
• B.Com / BBA / BBM / B.Sc.(Co-op. And Banking) or any degree from a recognized University
