KCET Result 2020: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) Result 2020 today @kea.kar.nic.in. The KCET exam was held on 30th and 31st July 2020 for which the result is released. Candidates who had appeared for the exam may check the result through the link that is given below or on the official website. Get the direct link for checking your result.

Over 1.53 lakh (1,53,470) students have qualified and have been allotted ranks for engineering seats this year. The students qualified in other courses are, Agriculture- 1,27,627, Veterinary Sciences- 1,29,666, AYUSH- 1,29,611, Pharma- 1,55,552. The result is available to check at 12:30 pm. As many as 1.75 lakh students appeared in the CET exams held on July 30 and 31.

KCET Result 2020: Highlights

1. A total of 80 students scored full marks (60 out of 60) in Biology, Chemistry- 3. However, no one scored full marks in Physics and Maths.
2. Total number of qualified candidates:
   1,53,470 – Engineering
   1,27,627 – Agriculture
   1,29,666 – Veterinary Sciences
   1,29,611 – AYUSH
   1,55,552 – Pharma courses
3. As many as 1,75,349 students out of the total 1,94,419 candidates who registered for KCET appeared for the test
4. “Two candidates who were asymptomatic and COVID-19 positive have bagged good ranks – Rank 214, and Rank 615,” Karnataka Dy CM says. 63 Candidates who were positive had taken the exams on July 30, 31

KCET Result 2020: Counselling Schedule To Be Announced Soon

KEA will soon release the CET 2020 counseling dates. The authorities have confirmed that the counseling will be held completely in online mode this year. Only two rounds of counseling and one round of extended counseling will be conducted. There will be no additional round. Candidates will also be able to complete the KCET 2020 counseling process at their respective districts.

KCET 2020 counselling will be in two rounds followed by an extended round for vacancies left. The counselling process includes registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment and finally reporting to the allotted institutes for admissions.

KCET 2020 Cut Off

At the end of each counselling round, KEA will release KCET 2020 cutoff. The last rank at which a seat is allotted will become KCET 2020 cutoff for that round. Based on KCET 2020 cutoff, candidates will be able to apply for the engineering college of their choice.
