J&K Bank Syllabus: PO Exam Pattern
J&K Bank Recruitment 2022 is going to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to select eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officer (PO). The PO exam is conducted in three stages, prelims, mains, and interviews. Check the exam pattern and syllabus below.
The recruitment process to select PO through the J&K Bank PO exam 2022 is done in three phases:
- Online Preliminary Exam,
- Online Mains Exam and
- Interview.
A candidate has to qualify for each stage to get promoted to the next stage. The candidates selected after the interview round are given the appointment letter.
J&K Bank PO Exam Pattern

- The Prelims Exam of Probationary Officer has three sections, i.e., English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The elaborated Prelims exam pattern is given in the table below.
- The Mains Examination has one additional section, i.e., Current Affairs and Basic Computer Proficiency.
- There will be negative marking in both stages. Which is equivalent to 1/4 of the marks of the questions.
- There will be no negative marking for unattended questions.
- The score of the Preliminary Exam will not be included in the merit list.
- The cumulative score of the Mains Exam and Interview process in the ratio of 80:20 is taken into consideration while preparing the merit list.

J&K Bank Mains Exam Pattern For PO
Candidates who qualify for the J&K Bank prelims cut-off are called for the J& K PO Mains exam, which is both qualifying as well as a scoring exam in nature. For the JK Bank PO Mains Exam, there will be 155 Questions of 200 Marks. There is a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer.

J&K Bank PO Interview Process
Those candidates who qualify for the J&K PO Mains exam, are called for a Personal Interview. Personal Interview comprises a good value for the final selection of J&K PO. Interviews will be conducted at select centers. The center, address of the venue, time & date of the Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.
The total marks allotted for the Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/Socially and educationally backward classes/PCP candidates). The weightage (ratio) of the Online Mains Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.
A candidate should qualify both in the Online Mains Exam and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for the subsequent provisional selection process.

J&K Bank Syllabus: Clerk Exam Pattern
J&K Bank Banking Associate exam is conducted to recruit Banking Associate in the bank. The recruitment process to select Banking Associate through J&K Banking Associate 2022 is done by a single exam only. A candidate must qualify and score higher marks in the exam to get her name on the merit list.
J&K Bank Banking Associate Exam Pattern
The JK Banking Associate Exam will have only one single exam pattern. Candidates will have to score high marks to be eligible to be recruited as a Bank Associate or Clerk.
The JK Bank Associate will have three sections of a total of 100 Marks comprising 100 questions. The duration of the exam will be 60 Minutes.
