What’s Next After IBPS PO Mains Result is released?
The Mains exam serves as the second stage of the IBPS PO recruitment process. Candidates who qualify will be called for the Personal Interview and Document Verification.
IBPS PO Personality Test 2025 (New Stage Introduced)
From this year, IBPS has added a Personality Test (self-report) stage between the Mains exam and the Interview round. Candidates who clear the Mains exam must appear for this test, as it is mandatory to become eligible for the interview.
The Personality Test is non-qualifying, meaning its marks will not be added to the final score. However, the Personality Profile generated from this test will be shared with the Interview Panel, helping them understand the candidate’s traits, behaviour, and suitability for the role.
IBPS PO Interview 2025
The IBPS PO Interview is the final and important stage of the selection process, with its marks added to the Mains score to create the final merit list. Candidates who clear the Mains are called for the interview, which carries 100 marks. In this stage, candidates are assessed on their communication skills, knowledge of banking and current affairs, problem-solving abilities, and overall personality.
