HTET 2020 Notification

Haryana TET is a state-level Teachers Test for aspirants in the teaching field. Candidates who wish to become teachers in Level-1 PRT (class I-V), Level-2 TGT (Class VI-VIII), Level-3 PGT (Lecturer) schools in the state of Haryana.

HTET 2020 Important Dates

Check the important dates of the HTET 2020 below. The HTET exam is going to take place on 02nd and 03rd January 2021.

• HTET 2020 Notification Released: 15^th November 2020
• HTET 2020 Application Process Begins: 16^th November 2020
• HTET 2020 Application Process Ends: 10^th December 2020
• HTET 2020 Application Correction Window Begins: 5^th December 2020
• HTET 2020 Application Correction Window Ends: 13^th December 2020
• HTET 2020 Admit Card Release: 3^rd Week of December
• HTET 2020 Exam Dates: 2^nd and 3^rd January 2021

The online application fee is different for all category candidates.

HTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

For each level of Teacher, there are different eligibility criteria in Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test. Check below for each level:

NOTE: After qualifying HTET the candidates will acquire eligibility in respect of having qualified HTET. However, such HTET qualified candidates will need to satisfy all eligibility requirements as per State Recruitment Rules in order to become qualified for getting recruited as teachers of respective categories in any of the schools as per the qualifying condition laid down by prospective employers.

Qualifying Marks for HTET 2020

Category wise minimum qualifying marks have been given:

• For the General/OBC Category, candidates should obtain a minimum of 90 marks out of 150 i.e 60% marks
• For Backward categories(SC/PH) of Haryana states candidates should obtain minimum marks 83 marks out of 150 i.e 55%

Prerequisites for HTET 2020 Online form:

1. A scanned copy of colored passport size photo in JPG format
2. A scanned copy of the signature in JPG format
3. A scanned copy of thumb impression in JPG format
4. 10th class mark sheet
5. 12th class mark sheet
6. Photo ID proof

• Providing wrong information in the HTET application form
• Providing misleading information
• More than one application form is submitted by one candidate. Only one of the applications will be considered for final submission.

• The paper will have questions from the Language(Hindi and English)
• General Studies paper will cover Quantitative aptitude, reasoning and General knowledge and current affairs of Haryana
• Mathematics and Environmental Studies paper

Haryana TET Result will be released after the exam is conducted. As the date of the exam is mid-November, the expected date of result release is in February 2021.
