HPPSC HPAS Exam Date 2021
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has announced the exam date for Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) Prelims Exam 2021. HPAS Prelims Exam 2021 is going to be conducted on 26th September 2021 (Sunday). Candidates can check their exam center name and exam timing by downloading admit cards from the official website, hppsc.hp.gov.in.
HPAS Prelims Exam 2021 will consist of two papers carrying a maximum of 400 marks. There will be a negative marking of one-third marks for every wrong answer. The syllabus for two papers is given below:
- Paper-I General Studies – It will be of 100 Multiple choice questions carrying a total of 200 marks. This paper will include questions from general science, history, economics, current events, etc.
- Paper-II Aptitude Test  – It will also consist of 100 Multiple choice questions carrying a total of 200 marks. This paper will include questions based to test mental ability, interpersonal skills, decision-making skills, comprehension, grammar skills, etc.

HPPSC HPAS Selection Process
Candidates who clear HPAS Prelims Exam 2021 will have to appear for HPAS Mains Exam 2021. Candidates who clear HPAS Mains Exam 2021 will have to appear for a viva-voce or interview.
HPAS Prelims Exam 2021 is the qualifying stage of HPAS Exam 2021. The final selection of candidates will be done by HPPSC on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in HPAS Mains Exam 2021 and Interview.
