HPPSC AE Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the faculty posts a candidate must go through the eligibility conditions and make sure he/she fulfils them with respect to Educational Qualification, Experience as well as age limit. Given below
Educational Qualification
Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering discipline with least 55% marks, in case of SC/ST/ Internal HPPTCL candidates and for other categories 60% marks having passed the degree from a recognized University / Institution of India. AMIE shall be recognized for internal candidates who were enrolled with the institutions having permanent recognition upto 31.05.2013.
Assistant Engineer (Civil)
Degree in Civil Engineering discipline with least 55% marks, in case of SC/ST/ Internal candidates of HPPTCL & for other categories 60% marks having passed the Degree from a recognized University / Institution of India. AMIE shall be recognized for internal candidate who were enrolled with institutions having permanent recognition upto 31.05.2013.
Assistant Engineer (Executive Trainee -Electrical)
Full-time B.E./B.Tech. (Electrical) or B.E./B.Tech. (Electrical and Electronics)/M.Tech.(Electrical)/Post Graduate Diploma in Hydro Power Plant engineering from a recognized University/ Institute of India with at least 55% marks in case of SC/ST/internal (HPPCL).
Assistant Officer -Executive Trainee – Law
Full-Time Graduate Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institute with two (2) years experience with at least 50% marks in case of SC/ST/internal (HPPCL) candidates and 55% marks in case of other categories.
Assistant Officer – Executive Trainee – Finance
Full-Time CA/ICWA/M.Com/MBA (Finance) with B.Com from a recognized University / Institute with at least 50% marks in case of SC/ST/internal (HPPCL) candidates and 55% marks in case of other categories.
Assistant officer – Executive Trainee Personnel
Full-time graduate with MBA (HR/Personnel) or equivalent (Full-time degree PGDM from IIMs is also equivalent) with at least 50% marks in case of SC/ST/internal (HPPCL) candidates and 55% marks in case of other categories
Age Limit (as on 1st January 2021)
Executive trainees: Minimum is 18 years and Maximum is 30 years
Assistant Engineer – Civil & Electrical: Minimum is 18 years and Maximum is 45 years.

- The eligible candidates must have to apply online through official website of the Commission @hppsc.hp.gov.in OR click on the direct application link above.
- The candidates should exercise due care while entering their Mobile Numbers and e-mail IDs in the Online Recruitment Applications
- Click on the link “Apply Online” on the Home Page.
- The candidate will register and create his/ her profile on One Time Registration and after logging into his/ her account in OTR.
- the list of advertisements will be displayed to the candidate on the dashboard. The candidate will apply for a particular post through the portal.
- The application of the candidate will be submitted only after uploading of requisite documents as per advertisement. Before submission of application the candidate will be shown the preview of uploaded documents and he/ shall give an undertaking/ declaration.

HPPSC AE Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
Stage 1: Screening / Preliminary Exam – Minimum pass marks in Computer Based Test / Offline Test (objective or descriptive) are 25% for the candidates of General category and 20% for the candidates of reserved categories.
Stage 2: Personality Test – Personal Interview
Stage 3: Document Verification – All the original documents will be verified by the recruiting authorities.
