HPBOSE 12th Result 2020: The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HP BOSE), Dharamshala has declared the result of 12th class result on 18th June 2020. Students who had appeared for the HPBOSE 12th Class exam can check their results from the link given below. The HPBOSE result is available online only. The result got delayed due to the COVID-19 lock down. The result will not be displayed on school notice board, check the result link below.
A total of 65,654 students cleared the class 12 exam successfully this year out of 86,633 candidates appeared. The pass percentage touched at 76.07 per cent. Prakash Kumar from Kullu Science School of Education topped the class 12 exam with 497 marks out of 500 marks (99.4 per cent).

This year, the number of male students supersede that of female students, 43,410 males in comparison to 42,898 female students. On 9th June 2020, it had declared the class 10th Result.

HPBOSE decided not to conduct the pending Geography paper and assess students primarily on the four subjects that could be held. The class 12 examination was initially scheduled to start from March 23, but it was postponed due to Covid-19 induced lockdown.
The board stated that the grade for the Geography paper is awarded in proportion to the highest marks received on the previous four exams. Meanwhile, the practical marks for the same is given on the basis of marks obtained in the school.
