HP TET 2020: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

TGT (Arts)	Candidates must have cleared 12 of the examinations with a minimum of 45% and a degree in B.A. or B.Com. Or Bachelor’s degree (50%) in elementary education.
TGT (Non-Medical)	Candidates must have cleared 12 of the examinations with a minimum of 50% and a degree in B.Sc. or B.Ed. or Bachelor’s degree (50%) in elementary education.
Shastri	Candidates must have cleared Shastri with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university by HP Govt.
TGT (Medical)	Aspirants must have cleared 12 of the examinations with a minimum of 50% and a degree in B.Sc.(medical) or B.Ed. or Bachelor’s degree (50%) in elementary education.
Language Teacher	Candidates must be a degree in Hindi or presently appearing in the final year of diploma course (2 years).
Junior Basic Training	Candidates must have cleared 12^th with a minimum of 50% and a degree in the diploma or Bachelor’s degree (50%) in elementary education.
Punjabi Language Teacher & Urdu Language Teacher	Candidates must be a degree. in Punjabi or presently appearing in the final year of diploma course (2 years).

HP TET Age Limit

There is no age limit for TET. The age limit criteria are to be considered by the appointing authority at the time of appointment.

How To Apply For HP TET Notification 2020?

Registration

Click on the Apply link given on the page. A registration link will open up in the new window.
Click on New Registration in the application window.
Provide personal credentials like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, etc.
Click on the submit button to the completed online registration form of Himanchal Pradesh TET.
After the Registration, a Registration ID and a password will be sent to your mobile no. and email id.

Sign In

Login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth, and password to complete registration for HP TET November 2020.
Upload your photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned below.
Upload scanned image of passport size photo and signature in JPEG format.
Size of Photograph: 4.5 cm X 3.5 cm; File size: upto 20 KB
Size of Signature: 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm; File size: upto15 KB
After uploading the photograph and signature the candidates will be required to verify the details. Preview and verify the application form carefully.

HP TET 2020 Exam Pattern

HPTET 2019 Exam Pattern is same for all the subjects-Arts/ Non-Medical/ Medical/ Shastri/ L.T/ JBT/ Punjabi/ Urdu Subject. Check below:

The mode of Examination is offline, that is Pen and Paper-based test
There will be 150 objective type questions(MCQ)
The duration of the examination is 150 minutes.

HPTET 2019 Exam will be an offline exam for 150 marks
Each Correct Answer will give a +1 mark
There will be no negative marking in the test
Minimum Qualifying Marks for HPTET Exam is 60%, which is 90 out of 150

HP TET Validity

The Validity Period of the HP TET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories. A person who has qualified TET may also appear to improve the scores.
