The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) released the official notification for the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) 2019 on the 7th of Oct 2019. As per the Recent Notice Last Date for Online Application for HTET 2019 is now extended till 23rd October 2019.
Haryana TET, HTET 2019
HTET is a state level Teachers Test for aspirants in the teaching field. Candidates who wish to become teachers in Level-1 PRT (class I-V), Level-2 TGT (class VI-VIII), Level-3 PGT (Lecturer) schools in the state of Haryana.

HTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria:
For each level of Teacher, there’s different eligibility criteria in Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test. Check below for each level:
Haryana TET Eligibility Criteria for Level-1 Primary Teacher (class I -V):
(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR
(i)Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
(i)Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special education).
ORÂ
(i)Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. secondary/Graduation/Post graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.
(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. secondary/Graduation/Post graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.
Haryana TET 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Level-2 TGT (class VI-VIII):
(i)Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
(i)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
(i)Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR
(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

(i)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed(Special Education).

Haryana TET 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Level-3 Lecturer :
(i) Post graduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognised university and B.Ed. from recognised university
(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. secondary/Graduation/Post graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects. And With Consistent good academic record.
NOTE: After qualifying HTET the candidates will acquire the eligibility in respect of having qualified HTET. However, such HTET qualified candidates will need to satisfy all eligibility requirements as per State Recruitment Rules in order to become qualified for getting recruited as teacher of respective category in any of the school as per the qualifying condition laid down by prospective employers.
NOTE: After qualifying HTET the candidates will acquire the eligibility in respect of having qualified HTET. Qualifying Marks for HTET 2019:
Category wise minimum qualifying marks have been given:
- For General/OBC Category, candidates should obtain minimum 90 marks out of 150 i.e 60% marks
- For Backward categories(SC/PH) of Haryana states candidates should obtain minimum marks 83 marks out of 150 i.e 55%

HTET 2019 Online Application Form stand invalid if:
- Providing wrong information in the HTET application form
- Providing misleading information
- More than one application form is submitted by one candidate. Only one of the application will be considered for final submission.
- Non-submission of application fee
The above given criteria makes the application form invalid and the board reserves the right to not be allowed for appearing in the Haryana TET 2019 Exam in that case.

Haryana TET Result will be released after the exam is conducted. As the date of exam is mid November, the expected date of result release is in December 2019.
