GSET 2021 Education Qualification
The candidates who have completed their master’s degree or pursuing the final year of post-graduation with 55% marks for General/Unreserved/General-EWS and 50% marks for other categories in the specified subject are eligible to appear in Gujarat State Eligibility Test. The candidates whose result is awaited or whose qualifying examinations are delayed can also apply for GSET 2021 Exam. Check notification for more details.
There is no upper age limit applying in GSET for eligibility of Assistant Professor.
GSET 2021 Exam Pattern
- GSET Examination will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions
- Paper-I will consist of 50 questions each carrying 2 marks.
- Paper-II will consist of 100 questions each carrying 2 marks.
- There is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
- All questions are compulsory to attempt.

Minimum Qualifying Marks
The candidate must appear in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) / General-EWS category candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories viz., SC, ST, SEBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer), PwD (PH/VH) and Third gender

- On the homepage, click on the button for “Notification GSET 2021” and read the notification completely.
- Click on Step-1 ‘Pay Examination Fee’ and pay the application fee online.
- Now click on Step-2 ‘Register Online for GSET’.
