Exams 2020 Postponed Due To COVID 19| Govt Exam Date, Result Date Postponed

The Novel Corona Virus is also known as Covid-19, has led affected over 40,000 plus people in India alone. Moreover, the no. of positive cases in India as well as the world is increasing exponentially. Being declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) in itself highlights the fact that how deadly this virus is. As a preventive measure, the govt. of India has ordered the postponement of a number of govt. exams to avoid gathering of a large number of people. The mass gathering would put them at risk of getting infected with Coronavirus. The government is taking measures to bring things under control by shutting down malls, cinema halls, theaters, public gatherings and events and encouraging people to work from home and stay safe.

Exams Postponed Due To COVID 19

A no. competitive exams conducted by the state govt as well as the central govt. exams have been postponed until further notice. Though some of the organizations claim that fresh dates will be issued only after April 15th, 2020. The first phased of the lockdown in the country was from midnight of 24th March to 14th April, second phase from 15th April to 3rd May, and the ongoing third phase being effective from 4th May to 17th May 2020.

A large no. of exams especially SSC, IBPS, UPSC, SBI has been postponed including the publication of Results. The candidates can expect some progress in the initiation of these exams once the lockdown phase gets over completely.
