CLAT Exam Date 2020: The NLU Consortium has released the admit card for CLAT 2020.  The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) on Tuesday released the CLAT 2020 admit card on its official website. Candidates who are registered for CLAT 2020 can download their admit card from the link given below or through the official website which is www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

CNLU will conduct the Common Law Admission Test 2020 (CLAT) on September 28. CNLU has also released a notice having additional instructions for candidates. The admit card will have a medical self- declaration form which must be signed by the candidate and shown at the entrance gate and submitted to the invigilator

CLAT 2020 New Exam Date

CLAT Admit Card 2020

The CLAT 2020 Examination was previously conducted in offline mode i.e. via pen and paper mode. But this year, it will be conducted in online mode. The move has been made in order to ensure the safety of candidates during the times of COVID 19 Pandemic. Moreover, social distancing norms shall be strictly followed by the candidates during the CLAT 2020 Exam. CLAT 2020 Exam will be conducted at 203 test locations which are increased from 67 locations released previously.

CLAT 2020 was originally scheduled to be held on May 10 but was postponed till May 24 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The exams got further delayed until June 21 and was again rescheduled to August 22 and then September 7. The exam will be held on September 28, 2020

Steps To Download 2020 Admit Card 2020

The following steps should be followed by the candidates for downloading the CLAT 2020 Hall Tickets.

1. Visit the official site of the NLU Consortium https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2020 or the link that is given below on this site.

2. A log-in window will appear on your screen.

3. Enter the mobile number (through which you have registered) and password

4. On logging-in, CLAT 2020 admit card will be displayed on screen.

5. Download and take a printout of the admit card of CLAT 2020.

Discrepancy In Downloading CLAT 2020 Admit Card

Every year, lakhs of candidates apply for CLAT 2020 It is possible that they may face difficulty in downloading the CLAT Admit Card. Or, it is even possible that the details printed on the hall ticket are incorrect or illegible. In such cases, the candidates have to contact the authorities as early as possible to get the problem resolved. What If I Forget CLAT 2020 Password?

• Visit the official website of the consortium – https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2020
• A log-in window will be present on the top right corner of the page.

Here is the screen shot of the page where you can recover the password. Right below the mobile no. and password, you can see forget password which is highlighted with yellow color being displayed:

• Just below the log-in button, there is a “Forgot Password?” button
• Click on it and a pop-up window will open
• Enter the mobile number that you had entered while applying and click on “Request OTP” button.
• An OTP will be sent to your mobile no.
• When you have received the OTP, click on “Reset Password” button
• A form will open where you have to enter the mobile number, OTP, and password.
• Enter the password again to confirm it.
• Finally, click on “Change Password” to create a new password for the account.
• A new password will be created and then you can log in again with the new password!!!

Documents To Carry For CLAT 2020 Exam

The following is the list of Essential Documents that has to be carried along with the candidates for appearing in the CLAT 2020 Exam. Without the following, the candidates will not be permitted to take CLAT Exam.

• Print out of CLAT Admit Card 2020

• A valid original photo Identity card which could be any of the following or any other document mentioned in the admit card.

  • PAN Card
  • Driving Licence
  • Voter ID
  • Passport
  • Aadhaar Card (with photo)

• A ball pen may be carried in case if it is not provided at the exam centre.

CLAT 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of CLAT 2020 for UG and PG Courses is as follows:

For UG Course: Subject Wise Marks Distribution

The CLAT question paper for UG Course will only be available in the English language. The UG-CLAT 2020 shall be a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. Also, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

For CLAT PG Courses: Marks Distribution

CLAT Exam for PG Course will be a two-hour exam of 120 marks. There are two sections in CLAT PG Exam, one is of MCQ questions and the other contains the subjective questions. There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
