CBSE 12th Result 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE result, 2020 12th Class students, on July 13 at 12.40 pm. The board has released the 12th Result on its official website which is cbse.nic.in result 2020 Class 10 by July 15, 2020.

 

The pass percentage this year for CBSE Class 12 results 2020 is at 88.78%. Trivandrum records highest pass percentage with 97.67 per cent, while Patna lowest with 74.57 per cent.

Earlier, CBSE had stated that there would not be a declaration of the merit list, but later on, the decision was changed.

CBSE Class 12th Result 2020: Highlights

Girls outshine boys in CBSE class 12th Result 2020. The overall pass percentage for Senior Secondary Exam has been reported at 88.78%.

  1. Trivandrum region has recorded the highest percentage with 97.67 % followed by Bengaluru with 97.05% and Chennai with 96.17%.
  2. This year, 1.57 lakh students have scored over 90% and 38,686 have scored over 95%.
  3. Girls have done better than Boys by 5.96 %.
  4. The pass percentage for girls is at 92.15 % which is higher than boys with 86.19%.

Other Methods To Check CBSE Result 2020

1. Through SMS

CBSE class 12 result by sending an SMS from the registered number.

The format which is to be followed for the SMS: “cbse12 (roll number) (date of birth) (school number) (Centre number) on the number 7738299899. The format of the date of birth should be DD/MM/YYYY. Students will then receive an SMS with a subject-wise list of their marks.

2. From Google

As soon as the CBSE Results gets announced, Google also offers the facility to students to check their result for a short time. Students can follow the given steps to check 12th class CBSE result via Google:

  • Visit google home page: www.google.com
  • Type “CBSE 12th Result 2020” in the search box and submit it
  • It will open the CBSE result window on its result page
  • Enter required credentials and submit details
  • The cbse.in 12th result 2020 for entered credentials will be shown on the screen

3. Through Call or IVRS.

The CBSE class 12 result can be checked through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). The call would be charged at 30 paise/minute for a single roll number. Students need to dial the number, 24300699, along with the code of their area preceding the given number.

The DigiLocker account details are sent via SMS on the registered mobile number with CBSE.

  1. Login using the Username and Password to the App
  2. Go to ‘Profile’ and sync the Aadhaar number, if the same hasn’t been done while signing up
  3. Click on ‘Pull Partner Documents’
  4. There will be two drop-down menus on the next screen

From the first one, select ‘Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi’

From the next one, select ‘Mark sheet (HSC/SSC)’, ‘Migration certificate’ or ‘Passing certificate’ etc

  1. Enter the required details, like year of passing and roll number, into the next screen
  2. The Mark sheet/ Certificate for CBSE 12th Result 2020 will be downloaded. Students can save the document in DigiLocker account by clicking on the ‘Save to locker’ button.

5. From Umang app

Students can also view their results on UMANG mobile app which is available for Android, iOS users. Click on the Class 10, Class 12 marksheet tab. Then, fill your credentials: Admit Card ID, Roll Number, and Date Of Birth. You will then be able to view or download your marksheet from there

CBSE Class 12th Result 2020: Post Result Counselling

After the declaration of results, CBSE has released details of its 23rd edition of post-result counselling facility. According to official information, the counselling of CBSE 12th result 2020 will be available from July 13 to July 27, 2020. Post-result counselling of the students will be done with the help of 95 trained volunteer principals and trained counsellors, CBSE said.
