JKPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2020: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir possessing the prescribed academic/professional qualifications and age for the posts of Medical Officer in Health & Family Welfare Department are eligible to apply.

The educational qualification is below for the JKPSC Medical Officer Post:

  1. MBBS or Possession of recognized Graduate Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or part-II of the 3rd Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  2. Holders of education qualification included in part-II of the 3rd Schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Registration of Medical Council of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir/Medical Council of India is pre-requisite for the eligibility of the candidate.

Age Limit

The age limit of the candidates must be between 18 to 40 years (Age relaxation for reserved category as per govt. norms)

(a) Requirement

Chief Risk Officer:

  • The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) has the primary responsibility for assisting and guiding the Chairman/MD in the development and implementation of the Bank’s Risk Management functions. This includes the ongoing strengthening of staff skills and enhancements to risk management systems, policies, processes, quantitative models and reports as necessary to ensure that the Bank’s Risk Management capabilities are sufficiently robust & effective to fully support its strategic objectives and all of its risk-taking activities. The CRO will be the key resource person providing in-depth expertise to the Top Management on key risk issues and assist Chairman/MD in framing policies, formulate strategies etc.
  • Facilitates the Board and management to identify the key risks at strategic and business / Operational levels and monitor those key risks across the Bank.
  • Champions the formulation & implementation of risk management policies, procedures, appetite / tolerance level and risk limits for managing various risks including capital risk, credit risk, market risk, operational risk, reputation risk, and asset and liability management. Develops & implements enterprise-wide risk management framework and system in accordance with international standards and best practices.
  • Works with management in developing risk mitigation measures to address the Bank’s key risks and to monitor their effectiveness.

J&K Bank Syllabus: PO Exam Pattern

J&K Bank Recruitment 2020 is going to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to select eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officer (PO). The PO exam is conducted in three stages, prelims, mains and interview. Check exam pattern and syllabus below.
The recruitment process to select PO through J&K Bank PO exam 2020 is done in three phases:

J&K Bank PO Interview Process

Those candidates who qualify the J&K PO Mains exam, are called for Personal Interview. Personal Interview comprises a good value for the final selection of J&K PO. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/Socially and educationally backward classes/PCP candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Mains Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.

A candidate should qualify both in the Online Mains Exam and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for the subsequent provisional selection process.
