Gopal Krishna Dwivedi, IAS, Principal secretary of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Andhra Pradesh  has informed on twitter that the exam is postponed due to COVID-19 situation in Andhra Pradesh state. He said fresh dates will be announced after the situation get normal.

The notification was released in the month of January 2020, the exam was supposed to be conducted in April or May 2020, which is delayed due to the COVID-19 lock down. The exam date for AP Grama Sachivalayam were announced, as other recruiting bodies have announced the exam dates, which is now postponed due to worsening of situation again. Education Qualification

a) Candidates should have passed MBBS Degree examination from a College recognized by the Medical Council of India.

b) Candidates must have completed internship not later than 16-06-2020.

AP Inter Result 2020: The Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has declared the Andhra Pradesh inter exam results 2020 at 4 pm, Friday, 12th June 2020. The results are announced for first and second-year students at 4 pm. Students had anxiously been waiting for the results. The announcement of AP 1st year Inter Results and AP 2nd Year Inter Result 2020 has been delayed this year due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

AP Inter Result

  1. his year, the first year result has been declared with subject wise marks as the grading system that was started last year has been canceled. However, the second-year students who were marked under the grading system last year will get the subject-wise grade points like last year
  2.  This year the pass percentage for first-year exam is 59 % and for the second year the pass percentage is 63 %.
  3. The best performing districts are Krishna and Guntur with 70% and 65% result respectively.
  4. A total of 2.76 lakh (2,76,389) students cleared the intermediate second year examination successfully out of 4.35 lakh appeared. The pass percentage touched at 63 per cent.
  5. A total of 3,00,560 students cleared the intermediate first year examination successfully. The pass percentage of first year touched at 59 per cent.

AP Police SI Physical Measurement Test

The candidates who will clear the Prelims Written Test will undergo the Physical Measurement Test or PET. The candidates should meet the following requirements:

AP Police SI Physical Efficiency Test

Candidates who fulfill the above mentioned PMT will now undergo Physical Efficiency Test. This test is done to check the physical ability of the candidates. The candidates will be evaluated on a total of 100 marks.

AP Police SI Exam Pattern For Final Exam

The candidates who will pass each of the tests will then have to appear for the final written test. There will be four papers. The final written test will be of 400 marks each of three hours duration.

APPSC Group 1 2020: Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be of sound health, active habits, and free from any bodily defect or infirmity rendering him / her unfit for such service. The minimum qualification is that the candidates must be a  graduate from the any recognized university of India.

Educational Qualification

There are some posts which require additional qualifications. Check the special educational qualifications as mentioned below.

District Fire Officers 

Degree in Engineering (Fire) of any University recognized by the UGC or any other equivalent qualifications. Provided that if no candidates with B.E (Fire) qualifications are available, candidates with the Degree in any discipline will be considered.

Assistant Treasury Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer

A degree in Commerce or Economics or Mathematics of a University Recognised by the UGC with at least a 2nd class in the subject, or A Chartered Accountants of the United Kingdom or India or an incorporated Accountant (London)

For Rest of the posts

Must possess a bachelor’s Degree of any University in India.

How To Apply For APPSC Group 1 Exam 2020?

For applying to any APPSC exam, candidates have to follow the steps given below:

  • Go to the official website, or click on the link given below.
  • Complete One-Time-Profile-Registration (OTPR) process.
  • On the page that opens up, click on New Registration for Direct Recruitment.
  • The candidates will have to enter the following information: Aadhaar Details, Basic Details, Address Details,  Educational Qualifications, Photo and Signature Upload, etc.
  • Review the entered information carefully and click on Submit.
  • The Reference Id will be generated and displayed on a screen.
  • Go to Login page and enter your credentials
  • Fill the details asked in the form and verify them
  • Submit the application and complete the payment process.
  • After payment is successful, the payment reference id will be generated
  • Submit the form and save/print the application receipt.
  • Use the application receipt for any future reference/correspondence.

APPSC Group 1 2020: Selection Process

Like the UPSC IAS Exam, the APPSC conducts the APPSC Group 1 exam in the following three stages.

  • Prelims Exam: This stage is used to filter out the candidates to be selected for the next stage.
  • Mains Exam: It is the merit deciding round.
  • Interview: It tests the thorough knowledge of the candidates of their expertise subject.

The candidates will have to clear each stage of the exam to be eligible to be recruited as an APPSC Group 1 Officer.
