Assam Sanskrit Teacher Recruitment 2021:Â Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification
The candidates should possess Graduation & PG from recognized University in Arts with the Sanskrit Language as one of the Subjects or Highest Degree in Language i.e. in Shastri examination in Sanskrit with at least 50% of Marks in either Graduation or PG (or its equivalent) and Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution with Secondary TET.
TET Marks: In order to Secondary TET, the candidate must have scored 60% marks in each paper for UR Category and 55% marks for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST (H) and PWD category.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2021)
- Minimum Age:Â 18 Years
- Maximum Age for UR:Â 40 Years
- Maximum Age for Ex-Servicemen:Â 42 Years
- Maximum Age for OBC/ MOBC:Â 43 Years
- Maximum Age for SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H):Â 45 Years
- Maximum Age for PWD:Â 50 Years
- Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ST/OBC/ PH/ Ex-servicemen candidates as per rules.

Assam Sanskrit Teacher Salary Structure
The candidates selected for the post of Sansksirt Graduate Teacher will be given the pay scale of Rs. 14,500 to Rs. 60,500/- and grade pay Rs. 8700 per month and other allowances as per rule.
