APVVP Assistant Surgeon Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

The interested candidates who fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility can apply for the APVVP Recruitment 2021. Check academic requirement and age limit for the posts of Civil Assistant Surgeon Recruitment in various departments.

Educational Qualification

1. Candidates must have passed PG Degree / Diploma / DNB in that particular speciality or its equivalent qualification included in the schedule –I of the MCI Act, 1956 as amended from time to time from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.
2. Candidates must be registered on a Permanent basis with the State Medical Council of Andhra Pradesh in India Constituted under MCI Act.

Age Limit (as on 1st July 2021)

The upper age limit is 42 years for General Candidates. Relaxations will be as follows:-
i. For SC, ST, BC candidates: 05 (Five) years.
ii. For Ex-service Men: 03 (Three) years in addition to the length of service in armed forces.
iii. For differently-abled persons:10 (Ten) years.
iv. Maximum age limit is 50 years with all relaxations put together.

APVVP Assistant Surgeon Recruitment 2021: Selection Process

Total Marks:100
a. 65% will be allocated for an aggregate of marks obtained in all the years in P.G.Diploma or any other equivalent
qualification.
b. In addition 10% will be allocated for P.G. Degree /DNB/ Equivalent qualification.
c. Upto 10 marks @ 1.0 marks per completed year after acquiring requisite qualification.
d. Weightage up to 15% will be given to the doctors working on a contract basis as shown below subject to their satisfactory service certified by the competent authority.

Based on working area:
(i) @ 2.5. marks per six months in Tribal Area
ii) @ 2.0 marks per six months in Rural Area
(iii) @ 1.0 marks per six months in urban areas

Based on COVID duties :
(i)@ 5 marks per six months.
(ii)@10 marks per one year.
(iii)@15 marks per one year six months
e. No Weightage will be given for the services rendered less than Six Months.
f. The Medical Ofcers who worked on contract basis and discontinued for administrative reasons i.e. for want of vacancy will be eligible for contract weightage.
g. The maximum weightage for Government service rendered in Tribal/Rural/Urban areas including COVID-19 duties is 15% only.
h. The above COVID-19 weightage shall be applicable only to the persons who have rendered their services for COVID-19 on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis and are appointed by the District Collector or any other competent authority based on orders issued by Government from time to time.

Certificates to be uploaded:

a. SSC or equivalent certificates ( for date of birth)
b. Degree certificate of P.G.Degree/Diploma/DNB/or equivalent qualification
c. Marks memos of all years of P.G.Degree/Diploma/DNB/ or equivalent qualification.
d. Certificate of permanent Registration in A.P. Medical Council constituted under the MCI Act.
e. Study Certificates from class IV to X from the school where the candidate studied. In case of private study local candidature certificate for that particular 7 years period preceding to the years passing X class from Tahasildar.
f. Copy of the latest caste certificate.
g. Certificate of disability issued in SADAREM only.
h. Services certificate from the controlling officer concerned (DM&HO/DCHS/Any authority who appointed the applicant) in case of Medical Officer working on Contract basis, in the absence of which the candidate will not be given any weightage.
i. Copy of Demand Draft towards application fee.
