APSC AE Recruitment Notification 2020: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Engineer, Civil (AE). There are a total of 104 Vacancies. Interested and Eligible candidates shall apply online on or before 16th June 2020.

In continuation of this office Advertisement No. 06/2019 issued vide letter No. 49PSC/DR-5/ I /20 I 9- 20 dated 19/11/20 I 9, it is notified for information to all concerned that the Govt. in Public Works Roads Department Establishment (8) Branch, have intimated additional  104 nos. of vacant post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) vide their letter No. RBEB. 159/2018/85 dated 20/03/2020. Over and above 156 posts already advertised as mentioned above to be filled up by direct recruitment. The breakup of 104 nos. of posts as intimated by the Govt.

Educational Qualification

1. A candidate must pass Bachelors’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an India or Foreign University recognized by the Government
   OR
2. Must have passed parts A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India) recognized by the Government.

Age Limit

The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2018.

The upper age limit is relaxable:-
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates i.e upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e upto 41 years as per Govt.

Documents To Be Sent For APSC AE Recruitment 2020

The application form must be filled carefully and also accompany the following documents.

(a) Original treasury receipt depositing prescribed examination fees.
(b) Age certificate (HSLC/Class X Board Admit Card/Pass Certificate).
(c) Certificates & mark sheets of all examinations from HSLC onwards up to the level of the qualifying examination.
(d) Caste certificate (wherever necessary) of reserved categories issued by the appropriate authority.
(e) Disability certificate(wherever necessary)
(f) Two copies of recent passport size photograph with white background.
(g) Signature( scanned copy to be uploaded in online mode when available)
(h) Experience certificates (wherever necessary)
(i) BPL certificate/EWS certificate (wherever necessary)

Note: No document other than the HSLC or Class X Board Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate, in which the date of birth is recorded, will be accepted by the Commission for determination of age.
