APPSC has released 151 vacancies for the post of medical officers Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy discipline in Ayush Department on 24th September 2021. Medical Officers (Ayurveda)

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Ayurveda awarded by a University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or State Act or Provincial Act, or an Institution recognized by the UGC or any statutory board of the State Government and undergone a regular course of Institutional study in the Ayurveda both in theory and Practical for a period not less than 4 ½ years duration in a Teaching Institution recognized by the University or State Government with one year compulsory Internship.
  • Candidate must be a permanent Registered Medical Practitioner in the concerned field within the meaning of the Law for the time being existing in the State.

Medical Officers (Homeopathy)

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Homeopathy awarded by a University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or State Act or Provincial Act, or an Institution recognized by the UGC or any statutory board of the State Government and undergone a regular course of Institutional study in the Homeopathy both in theory and Practical for a period not less than 4 ½ years duration in a Teaching Institution recognized by the University or State Government with one year compulsory Internship.
  • Candidate must be a permanent Registered Medical Practitioner in the concerned field within the meaning of the Law for the time being existing in the State.

Medical Officers (Unani)

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Unani awarded by a University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or State Act or Provincial Act, or an Institution recognized by the UGC or any statutory board of the State Government and undergone a regular course of Institutional study in Unani both in theory and Practical for a period not less than 4 ½ years duration in a Teaching Institution recognized by the University or State Government with one year compulsory Internship.
  • Candidate must be a permanent Registered Medical Practitioner in the concerned field within the meaning of the Law for the time being existing in the State.

Age Limit (As on 1/07/2021)

The age limit of medical officers (Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani) in Ayush Department are as follows:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years.
  • Maximum Age: 42 years.

Age Reservation for Medical Officers (Ayurveda and Unani) for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/EWS and other categories is as follows:

Steps to Apply for the APPSC MO Recruitment 2021

Candidates who are going to apply for the APPSC Recruitment 2021 can start the online application procedure from 4th October 2021. Interested candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before applying online. Candidates should not waste time by waiting for the last date of submission (25th October). Following are the steps which must be taken into consideration while filling the online application form.

  1. Visit the official website @psc.ap.gov.in or click on the link above which directs to online application page.
  2. New candidates must complete the OTPR (One Time Pass Registration) process by filling all the details carefully to receive OTP and login credentials on the registered mobile number/Email ID.
  3. Click on Generate OTPR ID.
  4. After successful registration, candidates will receive an OTPR ID and Password to start the online application procedure.
  5. Click on Login for Registered Candidates. Enter the login credentials carefully.
  6. Click on Login.
  7. Candidate has to click on the link for fees payment and verify all the details (such as white card details and Local/Non-Local status) that were entered during OTPR process.
  8. Candidate should click on Submit only after the verification of all details.
  9. Candidate can click on OK to select among various payment methods and pay the applicable fees.
  10. Payment Reference ID will be generated on successful payment of fess. Candidates must note this ID for future reference.
  11. Now, the candidate will be directed to the application form window.
  12. Candidates must fill all the essential details along with the Payment Reference ID.
  13. After successful submission of the online form, an application receipt will be generated.
  14. Candidates must save this receipt after taking a printout for future reference.

Application Fee

The candidates must submit the online application form before 25th September [11:59 AM] to avoid the last-minute rush. The fee structure is as follows:

  • Application Fees: 250 Rs.
  • Exam Fee: 120 Rs.

Following categories have to pay the exam fees (120/- Rs only):

  • SC/ST/Backward Class/Physically Handicapped (Orthopaedical)/ Ex-servicemen.
  • Families having household supply through white card issued by Civil Supplies Department for local residents of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Unemployed youth must submit declaration form as per the government rules, dated 18/10/1996.

However, candidates belonging to the above categories (except physically handicapped and ex-servicemen) from other states must pay the application process and exam fees.

APPSC MO Recruitment 2021 – Selection Process

Candidates who are applying for the APPSC MO Recruitment 2021 must appear in the written exam. The written exam will be a Computer Based Test (Paper I and II). Candidate must clear both Paper I and Paper II to clear the written exam to appear in the merit list. The written exam will be conducted in English language only.
