Allahabad High Court RO Recruitment 2021 – Eligibility Criteria

The interested candidates applying online for Allahabad High Court RO Recruitment 2021 should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post of Review Officer (Hindi and Urdu). The eligibility criteria is as follows:

1. A citizen of India, or
2. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1972, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
3. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Ceylon and East African Countries of Tanzania (formerly Tanganayika and Zanzibar) with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates belonging to (b) and (c) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the State Government and those who come under (b) must have the certificate granted by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence Branch of Uttar Pradesh.

Educational Qualification

The candidates who are going to apply for the post of Review Officer (Hindi and Urdu) must have the following qualifications:

Review Officer (Hindi)

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree preferably in Hindi and English from a recognized University established by law in India.
2. Diploma/Degree in Computer Science from a recognized Institution/University established by law in India.
3. Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operations.
4. Minimum typing speed of 25 w.p.m. in English Typing on Computer.

Review Officer (Urdu) 

1. Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Literature, Persian Literature or Urdu Literature from a recognized Institution/University established by law in India or Government of UP.
2. Diploma/Degree in Computer Science from a recognized Institution/University established by law in India.
3. Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operations.
4. Minimum typing speed of 25 w.p.m. in English Typing on Computer.

Preferred Qualification

Apart from the educational qualifications, eligible candidates with some working experience will be given main preference. As per Rule 26 of The Allahabad High Court Offices and Staff (Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Rules, 1976, a candidate: –

1. Who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
2. Who has obtained a ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) shall, other thing being equal be given preference, in the matter of direct recruitment to the Establishment.

Steps to Apply for Allahabad High Court RO Recruitment 2021

Online applications for the post of Review Officer (Hindi and Urdu) has started from 20th October 2021. The last date of filling application forms is 11th November 2021. Following are the steps to apply for Allahabad High Court Recruitment 2021:

1. Visit the official website @nta.nic.in or click on the link above which will directly take you to the application window.
2. Click on New Registration. Enter your Personal, Contact Details, Permanent Address, create and confirm your password.
3. Select a Security Question, Enter the security code as given in the image and click on Submit.
4. Candidates will receive an Application No. and Password through registered mobile number (OTP) and email address.
5. After the successful registration, candidates have to fill the login credentials (Application No, Password and Security PIN) to start the online application process.
6. Click on Sign In.
7. Enter all the details such as Personal Profile, Communication details, Educational Qualifications and Work Experience.
8. Upload all the necessary documents as per the prescribed format.

The candidates applying for Allahabad High Court RO Recruitment 2021 will follow the following selection process:

1. Stage I: General Studies and Computer Knowledge Test will be held in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode.
2. Stage II: Translation Test.
3. If two or more candidates score identical marks, the candidate who is older in age will be placed higher in the merit list.
4. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in Stage I and II
