- For Un-reserved Category: Not more than 40 Years

- For SC/ST (P)/ST(H): Not more than 45 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

AHVD Assam Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
Grade IV Posts
The selection of the eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test for (Reasoning, Numerical Ability, History with special reference to Assam, Geography, English, General Knowledge): 100 marks of 2 hours duration. There will be 1⁄4 (one fourth) negative mark for each wrong answer.
Jr Asst, Electrician Posts
There will be two phases of Tests (i) First Phase Test (OMR based Written Test) and (ii) Second Phase Test(Computer Proficiency Test) for the post of-
1. Junior Assistant (HQ) and
2. Junior Assistant (Sub-ordinate)
B. There will be only First Phase Test (Written Test) for the post of Electricians to be held along with Junior Assistant (HQ) & Junior Assistant (Sub-ordinate).
AHVD Assam Recruitment 2021: Salary Structure
- For Grade IV posts: Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 52,000 + Grade pay 3,900/-
- For Jr Asst, Electrician Posts: Rs.14000- Rs.60500 + Grade Pay Rs.6200
