AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2021 – Vacancy Details

A total of 90 vacancies have been released for the post of Apprentice under Apprentices Act, 1961 on 11th October 2021. Apprentices from various disciplines will undergo 1 year training under AAI after getting shortlisted during the recruitment process. AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2021 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the post of Apprentice (Graduate, Diploma and Trade) must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before signing up in the online portal. It is important to note that only the candidates belonging to the Northern Region of India can apply for this post. The regions in the northern India are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the post of Graduate and Technical (Diploma) Apprentice must have the following qualifications:

1. Candidates applying for the post of Graduate Apprentice must have pursued full time 4 year Graduation in the relevant discipline in Engineering recognized by AICTE, GOI.
2. Candidate applying for the post of Diploma Apprentice must have pursued full time 3 year Diploma in the relevant discipline Engineering recognized by AICTE, GOI.
3. Candidates who have completed their Degree/Diploma in 2019 or after 2019 will be considered eligible.

Candidates applying for the post of ITI Apprentice must have the following qualifications:

1. Candidate must have Industrial Training Institute (ITI)/ National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) certificate in the relevant trade from institutions recognized by AICTE, GOI.
2. Candidates who have completed their Degree/Diploma in 2019 or after 2019 will be considered eligible.

Age Limit (as on 30/09/2021)

Candidates who are applying for Graduate, Diploma and Trade Apprentice must have maximum age limit of 26 years.

Steps to Apply for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2021

Interested and eligible candidates applying for the post of Apprentice can apply online from 11th October 2021 – 31st October 2021. Candidates must enroll themselves and then start the online application as mentioned in the recruitment notification. Steps for applying for Graduate and Diploma Apprentice are as follows:

1. 1. Visit the online NATS portal @mhrdnats.gov.in or click on the link to apply online for Graduate and Technical Apprentice.
   2. Click on Enroll.
   3. There are 4 sections: Eligibility Check, Questionnaire & Guidelines, Enrollment Form, Preview & Confirm.
   4. For Eligibility Check section, candidate must confirm that he/she is a Student, pursuing Regular course in 2019 or after 2019. If the candidate is eligible, “Congrats! You are eligible to enroll now” appears on the screen with “Let’s get Started!”
   5. Candidate must make sure that he/she has all the necessary documents and then click on I have above data.
   6. Type valid mobile number and click on Send OTP. Candidate will receive OTP which must be typed in the given field. Now, the mobile number is verified.
   7. Candidate must now type his/her name and email ID in the designated field. Type your password in Set up a Password and Confirm Password.
   8. Click on Save & Continue.
   9. Questionnaire & Guidelines section becomes active. Read all the instructions and then click on checkbox against “I agree to the above terms and conditions”.
   10. Enrollment Form section appears with three tabs: Personal Information, Academic Details and Training Preferences. Fill all the details and upload the required documents. Click on Save & Continue after completing the details of each section.
   11. In the Preview & Confirm section, candidate can have a preview of the enrollment form. Submit after checking all the details. Enrollment Successful message appears with email ID, user ID and Password.
   12. Candidate can login through User ID and Password to start the application process.
   13. Click on Establishment Request and then click on Find Establishment from the menu.
   14. Under Search Criteria, select Establishment Name and type Airports Authority of India. Click on Search.
   15. Click on Airports Authority of India, select Northern Region (candidate is applying from) and click on Apply.
   16. Application process is successful. The candidate will be contacted by the establishment for further recruitment process.

Steps for applying for ITI Apprentice are as follows:

1. Visit the Apprenticeship India Portal @apprenticeshipindia.gov.in or click on the link above for Trade Apprentice.
2. Click on Register and select Student.
3. Candidate Registration page appears on the screen. Fill all the details carefully, set up and confirm the password.
4. Click on Submit.
5. Registration Successful message with Registration No. will appear on the screen. Write it down for future reference.
6. Check your inbox for confirming email ID and click on Activate.
7. Candidate can now login through Email and Password. Click on Login.
8. Candidate should now click on Complete Your Profile. Fill up all the required details by clicking on Edit.
9. Click on Save & Submit after completing your profile.
10. Candidate can search for the Establishment under Establishment Opportunities menu.
11. Select Establishment Name (Airports Authority of India), Region and Trade from the drop-down menu.

AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2021 – Selection Process

Candidates applying for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2021 will go through the following selection process:

1. Candidates have to clear the qualifying exam which will be provisional. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of score obtained in the exam.
2. Selection will be done on the basis of interview, certificates and submitting the Medical Fitness Certificate.
