CLAT 2020 Registration Form (Extended): Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam for taking admissions for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes that are offered by 22 National Law Universities throughout the country.
According to the latest announcement via a notice released on the official website of CLAT, The Consortium of National Law Universities has decided to extend the deadline of online application for Common Law Admission Test 2020 till 10th July 2020. They have also extended the dates of this year’s CLAT 2020 Examination indefinitely until further updates, following the extension of the fourth phase of lockdown by the central government.
CLAT 2020 Application Form: Students will be Given Ample Time For Preparation
Even though the exam dates have not yet been released, the official notice comes as a huge relief for the students. The university responsible for conducting the CLAT 2020 examination, the National Law University Bhopal has assured that the students will be informed well beforehand on the conduct of the examination so that the students can have ample free time for preparations for the test. The date of issuing admits cards will also be decided on prior notice. The Executive Committee unanimously resolved to extend the last date for CLAT Registration Form 2020 to 10th July 2020, and to announce a date for the CLAT 2020 Exam by “28th Sept. 2020“ giving students at least 21 days’ prior notice for the exam,” said the official notice.
However, the students can themselves keep an eye on the official website of CLAT 2020 for being updated on any information regarding the entrance examination. The CLAT aspirants can also reach out to the examination officials to clear any doubts and concerns in a dedicated helpline number that will be available on all working days between 10 am and 5 pm. The consortium has also decided on setting up a Peer Prep Group for General Knowledge and Current Affairs so that the candidates can benefit from the discussions. This will be supervised by a conducting body which will intervene for any clarifications, and the students can make the best out of it.
