UPPSC Polytechnic Lecturer Teaching Service Examination Eligibility Criteria is given below for different posts. Check the Age Limit, Educational Qualification and Work Experience requirements given below.

AGE LIMIT

Principal Post: Candidates must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have crossed the age of 50 years on July 1, 2021, i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2 July 1971 and not later than July 1, 1986.

AGE LIMIT: 35 Years to 50 Years

Lecturer/Workshop Superintendent/ Librarian: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years on July 1, 2021, i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July 1981 and not later than July 1, 2000. For PH candidates relaxation in the upper age limit shall be admissible as per rules.

AGE LIMIT: 21 Years to 40 Years

AGE RELAXATIONS

UPPSC Technical Lecturer Eligibility Criteria 2021_60.1

  • The upper age limit shall be greater by five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P., Other Backward Classes of U.P., Skilled players of U.P. of Classified Games, State Govt. Employees of U.P. including Teachers/Staff of the Basic Shiksha Parishad of U.P. and Teachers/Staff of the Government Aided Madhyamik Vidyalayas of U.P. i.e. they must have not been born before 2nd July 1976.
  • The upper age limit shall be greater by fifteen years for physically handicapped persons of U.P.
  • For Group ‘B’ post-Upper age limit shall also be greater by 3 years + period of service rendered in the army and for Group ‘A’ post upper age limit shall be greater by five years who have rendered five years service in the army for the Emergency Commissioned Officers/ Short Service Commissioned Officers/Ex-Army Personnels of U.P.

Educational Qualification

Post Required Educational Qualification
Principal Ph.D. and First Class at either Bachelor’s
or Master’s level in the relevant discipline
(as enumerated in the list of AICTE
approved Diploma Courses) with Minimum
of 16 years of experience in Teaching at
degree or diploma level in technical
education/Research/Industry, out of which
at least 3 years shall be post Ph.D.
experience and 5 years of experience not
below the level of HOD.ORFirst Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level
in the relevant discipline (as enumerated
in the list of AICTE approved Diploma
Courses) and a minimum of 20 years of
experience in teaching at degree or diploma
level in technical education/Research/
Industry, out of which 5 years of experience
not below the level of HOD.
Lecturer, Engineering & Technical Branches (a) Engineering/Technology(Level-9A, Entry Pay 56,100/-)

B.E./B.Tech./B.S.in relevant discipline (as
enumerated in the list ofAICTE approved
Diploma Courses) with First Class.

(b) Technical Disciplines

(Level-10, Entry Pay 57,700/-)

Bachelor’sandMaster’sDegreesinrelevant
discipline (as enumerated in the list of
AICTE approved Diploma Courses) with
First Class in either of the two at the time of
selection

 

Lecturer (Non-Engineering) For Science and Humanities:(Level-9A, Entry Pay 56,100/-)

Master’s degree in the appropriate subject
with First Class

For Science and Humanities:

(Level-10, Entry Pay 57,700/-)

A Master’s Degree with First Class or
equivalent in a relevant subject and,
must have cleared the National
Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by
the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test
Accredited bythe UGC,like SLET/SET

 

Workshop Superintendent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering with first class
Librarian :
(b)
A Master’s Degree with First Class or
equivalent in a relevant subject and,
must have cleared the National
Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the
UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test
Accredited bythe UGC,like SLET/SET.
Master’s degree in appropriate subject
with First Class.
A Master’s Degree with First Class or
equivalent in a relevant subject and,
must have cleared the National
Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the
UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test
Accredited bythe UGC, like SLET/SET.

equivalent in a relevant subject and,

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering with first class.
Master’s Degree in Library Science
with at least First Class or equivalent
and a consistently good academic
record, having the knowledge of
computer.
Qualifying in the National Level Test
conducted for the purpose by UGC or
another equivalent test as approved by
the UGC.(a) For Diploma level Institutions:Librarians who have been recruited
between 01-01-1996 and 15-03-2000
in the Diploma level Institutions, with
the existing recruitment rules to be
considered for up-gradation under
CAS in the next higher grade of Senior
Scale only. However, for further upward
movementunderCAS,they are required
to acquire minimum educational
qualification in a manner similar to that
as laid down inAICTE notification 2000
(Degree)and in subsequent clarifications/
Notifications.
