UPPSC Assistant Engineer 2020
The online application portal for the Combined State Engineering Services (General Recruitment/Special Recruitment) Examination-2019 has been closed on 30 January 2020. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification – An applicant must possess a degree of Engineering or Technology in the branch of Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Agriculture/ Industrial/ Chemical or equivalent, from a university or institute recognized by the Government of India.
Age Limit – A candidate must be at least 21year old to apply for the recruitment process; the upper age limit is 40 years on July 1, 2019.

Examination Pattern
- UPPSC AE Examination comprises two papers and a Personal Interview, wherein the papers will be of written type.
- Only the candidates who meet the cut-off criteria in the written examination, as prescribed by the Commission will be called for interview.
- The selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in written examination and interview.
- However, some posts have direct recruitment on the basis of total marks obtained in the written examination, according to the provision of concerned service rules of such posts.
