S1. Ans.(a)
Sol. The property at which it’s all energy measured at its static condition. When a fluid having zero velocity is the condition of stagnation. then its K.E, is zero and K.E. is function of absolute temp. so at zero absolute temp. property of fluid is known as stagnation property.

S2. Ans.(c)
Sol. Modulus of Resilience defined as the ratio of proof resilience and unit volume or we can say that it is the maximum strain energy up to the elastic limit (i.e., without any permanent deformation) per unit volume.

S3. Ans.(c)
Sol. plate thickness (t) = 10 mm
Width of plate (B) = 30 cm = 300 mm
Diameter of rivet (d) = 18 mm
Diameter of hole (do) = 18+1.5
= 19.5 mm
Net sectional area (A_net) = (B – do) × t
= (300 – 19.5) ×10
= 280.5 ×10
= 280.5 mm²
= 28.05 cm²
