S → size of weld.
→ Minimum size of weld up to 10 mm thick plate equal to 3 mm.
→ Throat coefficient for 60° angle between fusion faces equal to 0.7
So, Throat Thickness (t) = 0.7 × 3
= 2.1 mm.
