Students who do not qualify in GATE

Though each year lakhs of candidates appear for GATE, only a few of them are able to rank well. This is because the exam is quite tough and the candidate has to prepare from a huge syllabus. But this does not mean that the candidates who have not qualified GATE cannot continue their M.Tech education. There are a number of private colleges that offer the education of M.Tech without checking out the results of GATE. The only difficulty here lies that they might charge a huge amount of course fees.

Also, there are a number of candidates who have the nag of cracking GATE and getting admission in the IITs only. When GATE does not have any age criteria, there are so many candidates who appear for the exam a number of times till the moment they do not crack through hit to get admission in their desired college.

Thus, the GATE is not actually necessary for M.Tech. But it is necessary if you wish to get admission in the topmost prestigious colleges of India such as IIT for your M.Tech or relevant programs.
