GPSC Exam Eligibility Criteria

There are some eligibility criteria which are set by the board which students need to fulfill before applying for the GPSC AE Recruitment 2021. Checkout all the pre requisite you need to know.

AGE LIMIT

The Age Limit of the Candidate applying must not be more than 35 Years i.e.. the Age limit is

18-35 Years.

There are certain category-wise age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories

Educational Qualifications

1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree of Engineering (Civil) or Technology
   (Civil) obtained from any of the Universities established or
   incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any
   other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be
   deemed as a university under section 3 of the University Grants
   Commission Act,1956 or possess an equivalent qualification
   recognized by the Government.
2. The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil
   Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
3. Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both.

GPSC AE Recruitment 2021 Selection Process

The selection process for the OJAS GPSC Exam 2021 for AE consists of two steps, i.e..

1. Primary Test
2. Interview

GPSC Assistant Engineer selection process Primary Test (Stage I)

This stage of GPSC AE Recruitment 2021 is basically a Online Written Test which is of 300 Marks and consist questions from General Studies and Technical Domain.

GPSC Selection Process Interview ( Stage II)

This is the final Stage , Screened Candidates from Primary test will be judged finally here. So candidates need to work their best for both Primary test and Interview.

The Assistant Engineer is a Class II Job and the payscale is Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/- in the Level 8 of the Pay Matrix
