There is an extremely important piece of information for all the candidates who had been waiting for the declaration of the allotment list from the GATE COAP Round 4. The allotment list has been released a day in advance on 6th July 2020 against the expected date of 7th July 2020, in order to provide the students with additional times to confirm their acceptance of the offer. As per the information shared by the coordinating institute for GATE COAP 2020, IIT Madras, students must confirm their acceptance of the offers latest by 8th July 2020. Though, it is important for the candidates to know that the option to retain and wait is not available if the same option has been used twice for the same program with the same institute. But the option can be exercised in case of a different program. In order to complete the process, candidates must log-on to coap.iitm.ac.in.

Here are some important points that the candidates must know about the process of acceptance of offer in GATE COAP 2020 Round 4: –

          Several changes have been introduced in the acceptance process for GATE COAP 2020 Round 4. Now the candidates have several options like “Retain and Wait,” “Accept and Freeze,” and “Reject and Wait.”

 

          All those candidates who have previously used the option “Retain and Wait” for the same institute and programme, will not be able to use this option. Though, this option is available in case the candidates choose a different programme or institute.
