Territorial Army New Exam Dates Released

As per the official notification released, the Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) -2022 written exam conducted on 25 Sep 2022 at all centres has been declared Null and Void by the competent authority due to certain unforeseen circumstances and the competent authority has also directed that the candidates whose applications had been accepted for 25 Sep 2022 exam need to appear in the re-exam for TA Commission which will be conducted on 18th December 2022.

A total of 13 vacancies have been released, 12 for male and 1 for female candidates. It is crucial information for all the students who have appeared in the exam and are waiting for the results. they are advised to stay updated and start preparing for the exam.

Information about the new exam date for the said exam will be issued through email as well. The same has been notified by uploading on the Territorial Army official website www.jointerritorialarmy.gov.in in due course.

It is also to inform you that you are NOT required to apply again for the re-exam which also means that you don’t need to deposit the exam fees once again. Nonetheless, you are supposed to download the new admit card/ hall ticket and present the same while appearing for the exam. You will be notified about the same soon on the official website.

The TA (Territorial Army) is the second line of defence after the Regular Indian Army. The primary role of the TA is to support the regular army and assist the civil administration during times of natural disaster and maintain peace.

The territorial Army Exam aka TA Exam is for young candidates to serve in a military environment who are already working without having to sacrifice their primary professions in two capacities that is as a civilian and a soldier.

After getting selected, they are given months of essential training in the first year of commission which includes 2 months of annual training camp every year including the first year and then the 3 months Post Commissioning training within the first two years at IMA Dehradun.
