CDS Notification was released on 31st October 2018. A total of 417 vacancies was declared in the official CDS Notification 2019. CDS 1 Exam will be conducted on 3rd February 2019 and the Admit Card is expected to be available from 13th January 2019 Onwards. With the release of Official Notification, exam dates, eligibility, pattern and syllabus for CDS 1 Exam was announced. The Result for CDS 1 will be declared separately for candidates selected for SSB and for the final selection. After the Written Exam has been conducted by UPSC for CDS 1 exam 2019, result will be declared in which the list will be generated for the students selected for the SSB Round. CDS 2019 Online Application was released on 31st October 2019. The Apply Online Link was deactivated on 26th November 2018. Candidates were given the option to withdraw their Application form for CDS Exam if he/she had applied for the exam before 26th November 2019. The last day to withdraw CDS Application Form was 10th December 2019.
To successfully submit the Online Application form for CDS Exam 2019, a candidate must pay the required Application Fee. CDS Application Fee for candidates belonging to GENERAL/OBC category is Rs. 200/-. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Female Category are exempted from paying any application fee for the CDS 1 exam.

A candidate who successfully clears both these tests and maake it to the merit list generated by UPSC with the cumulative score of Written Exam and the SSB will be considered for final selection.
