SBI SO 2019

State Bank of India recruits candidates to fill in the vacancies of a Specialist Officer through SBI SO Exam. The Specialist Officer in SBI is recruited both on a regular and contract basis. Interested candidates can fill in the online application form for SBI SO Exam. The posts offered through SBI SO Exam are that of a Analytics Translator, Sector Credit Specialists, Portfolio Management Specialists, Sector Risk Specialists.

SBI released SBI SO 2019 Notification on 22nd January 2019 to select eligible candidates to the post of Specialist Officer in various branches of SBI all over the country. The Online Application process started from 22nd January 2019 and will end on 11th February 2019.

SBI SO 2019 Notification

The online application of SBI SO 2019 Exam started from 22nd November 2019. The last date for receiving payment for application of this exam is 11th February 2019. The notification is released for the post of Specialist Officer Contractual & Regular, Senior Executive etc.

SBI SO 2019 Exam Application Fees

A candidate is required to pay Rs. 600/- (General and OBC) as their application fee for SBI SO 2019 exam. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

SBI SO 2019 Exam Pattern

Candidates are selected through an interview process for different posts filled through SBI SO 2019. To be eligible for Interview Process a candidate must qualify a written test (For Deputy Manager (Law)). The qualifying marks will be decided by State Bank of India.

Special Management Executive & Deputy General Manager (Law) (both regular & contractual)

The selection process for the above mentioned posts will involve shortlisting and interview. The applications received will be shortlisted on the basis of candidate's qualification, suitability, experience etc. The candidates will be awarded marks out of 50 and the qualifying marks inn Interview will be as decided by the State Bank of India. The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category as stated.

Deputy Manager (Law)

The selection of candidates for the above mentioned post will be on the basis of online written test and interview process.

SBI SO 2019 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria are different for different positions that are filled through SBI SO 2019 exam. A candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria for different positions for which they have applied in order to qualify for further processes. For Special Management Executive

  • Educational Qualification: CA/ ICWA/ ACS/ MBAin Finance or 2 years PG Diploma in Finance (The course should be of 2 years full time duration. Course completed through correspondence/ part-time are not eligible. The institute should be recognized/ approved by Government bodies/ AICTE)
  • Age Limit: Min 30 years & Max 40 years
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years post qualification experience (as on 31.12.2017) as an Executive in Supervisory/ Management role: In a Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Associate or Subsidiary of a Scheduled Commercial Bank OR In a Public Sector or listed Financial Institution/ Company. Candidates having experience in processing of credit proposals are preferred.

For Deputy General Manager (Law, Contractual)

  • Educational Qualification: Degree in Law (3 years/ 5 years) from a recognised University India.
  • Age Limit: Min 42 years & Max 52 years
  • Experience: Enrolled as Advocate with Bar Council and having minimum 17 years of experience as Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks OR Financial Institutions OR Asset Reconstruction Company OR combined experience as Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Bank and Asset Reconstruction Company and having extensive experience in Recovery & Rehabilitation. The experience should be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council

For Deputy General Manager (Law, Regular)

  • Educational Qualification: Degree in Law (3 years/ 5 years) from a recognised University India. Post Graduate degree in Law will be preferable.
  • Age Limit: Min 42 years & Max 52 years
  • Experience: Enrolled as Advocate with Bar Council and having minimum 17 years of experience as Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks OR Financial Institutions OR Asset Reconstruction Company OR combined experience as Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Bank and Asset Reconstruction Company and having extensive experience in Recovery & Rehabilitation. The experience should be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council.

For Deputy Manager (Law)

  • Educational Qualification: Degree in Law (3 years/ 5 years) from a recognised University India
  • Age Limit: Min 25 years & Max 35 years
  • Experience: Enrolled as Advocates with Bar Council and having 4 years of experience as practicing Advocate OR Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks OR 4 years combined experience as practicing advocate and Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks. The experience should be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council.

For Deputy Manager (Law)

The gross salary of Chief Manager selected through SBI SO 2019 Exam including HRA, PF, DA, CCA etc. amounts to Rs. 15.10 Lac.

For Deputy General Manager (Law, Contractual)

The gross salary of Chief Manager selected through SBI SO 2019 Exam including HRA, PF, DA, CCA etc. amounts to Rs. 47.00 Lac.

For Deputy General Manager (Law, Regular)

The gross salary of Chief Manager selected through SBI SO 2019 Exam including HRA, PF, DA, CCA etc. amounts to Rs. 40.20 Lac.

Special Management Executive

The gross salary of Chief Manager selected through SBI SO 2019 Exam including HRA, PF, DA, CCA etc. amounts to Rs. 18.00 Lac.

SBI SO Admit Card 2019

The Admit Card for SBI SO 2019 will be released soon by State Bank of India. The Admit Card will not be sent to candidates via post, thus candidates are advised to download the Admit Card online for the upcoming SBI SO 2019 Exam. SBI SO Result 2019

State Bank of India will release SBI SO Result 2019 once the examination for the same has been conducted. SBI will release SBI SO Result separately for Written Exam and for the final merit list. The allotment will be done based on the scores of candidate in GD-PI Round.
