SSC MTS 2019 Exam Dates

The exam dates for SSC MTS 2019 has been finally announced. Staff Selection Commission of India has released the Official Nptification on 22nd April 2019. Candidates can check schedule for SSC MTS 2019 in the table given below.

The recent notice by SSC says that the New Exam Date of MTS Tier-2 Exam is 24th November 2019. This might also lead to delay in the release of the admit card and result of Tier-2/Paper-2 exam.

SSC or Staff Selection Commission conducts Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) every year in 2 different stages. It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify both these stages of examination in order to make it to the merit list prepared by SSC prepared at the end.

SSC MTS Application Fee

The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2019 is Rs. 100/-. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee for SSC MTS 2019 exam.

SSC MTS 2019 Exam Pattern

The examination of SSC MTS 2019 will be conducted in 2 different levels: Paer-1 and Paper-2. Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies.

Paper-I

As SSC MTS 2019 is going to be conducted online, major changes have been made in the exam pattern of SSC MTS 2019 Exam. The number of questions asked in General Awareness and General English Section has been reduced from 50 to 25. The overall duration of completing the paper has also been reduced from 120 minutes to 90 minutes.

SSC MTS 2019 Eligibility Criteria

There are three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfil in order to be eligible for SSC MTS 2019 Exam. Let’s have a look at all these three criteria:

Nationality: A candidate is required to be

Age: A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.08.2018. Apart from the pre mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

SSC MTS Admit Card 2019

Admit card for SSC MTS 2019 has been released sequentially to all candidates. Admit card for Paper-1 will be released first followed by Admit Card for Paper-2. SSC MTS Admit Card for Paper-2 will be issued to candidates who have successfully cleared the first phase of SSC MTS 2019 Exam. SSC MTS Result 2019

SSC will be declaring result for SSC MTS 2019 after the exam for each phase has been conducted by Staff Selection Commission of India. The Result of Paper-1 will decide the number of candidates eligible to give descriptive paper (Paper-2) of SSC MTS 2019 Exam.

SSC MTS 2019 Cut Off

The cut-off for SSC MTS 2019 will be declared once the examination for the same is conducted and the result has been declared. The cut-off will depend upon the level of difficultyof the SSC MTS 2019 Exam as well as the number of candidates appearing for the exam.

SSC MTS 2019 Preparation

Numerical Ability: Prepare topics such as Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Mensuration, Time and distance, Average, Number System, Algebra and Data Interpretation. Divide time accordingly for each topic and consult good books to prepare for this section.

English Language: Cloze Test, Reading Comprehension and Error Spotting and Correction are three major sections that you need to focus on while preparing for this section.

General Awareness: Learn from Static GK, Latest Current Afffairs, Sports etc. to prepare effectively for General Awareness Section.

Reasoning: Focus on the areas of Coding-Decoding, Venn Diagram, Blood Relation and Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning. Try to solve as many questions as you can to get acquainted with the type of questions being asked in this section.
